📝 Enrollment & Registration

What ages do you accept? +

We accept children from 12 months to 7 years old. Our programs include Young Toddlers (12-24 months), Toddlers (2-3 years), and Preschool (3-5 years). We also offer before/after school care for children up to 7 years old.

How do I enroll my child? +

Enrolling is easy! You can:

  • Fill out our online enrollment form on our website
  • Schedule a tour to visit our facility

Once you submit your enrollment form, we'll contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss next steps.

Is there a waitlist? +

Availability varies by age group and location. We encourage you to contact us early to secure your spot. If your preferred program is full, we'll add you to our waitlist and notify you as soon as a spot opens up.

Do you accept childcare subsidies? +

Yes! We accept DSHS childcare subsidies and MCCYN (Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood) to serve military families. Contact us to learn more about payment options and assistance programs.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio? +

We maintain low ratios to ensure quality care:

  • Young Toddlers (12-24 months): 1:7
  • Toddlers (2-3 years): 1:7
  • Preschool (3-5 years): 1:10
What does a typical day look like? +

Our days include a mix of structured activities and free play:

  • Circle time and morning meetings
  • Age-appropriate learning activities
  • Outdoor play and physical activities
  • Arts and crafts
  • Story time and music
  • Rest/nap time
  • Meals and snacks
Do you provide meals and snacks? +

We provide nutritious breakfast and snacks daily. Lunch is NOT provided - parents must send a packed lunch with their child. Our snacks meet USDA nutritional guidelines. We can accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions with advance notice.

🕐 Hours & Policies

What are your hours of operation? +

Fort Nugent Center: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

View Ridge Center: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Core hours are 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Please notify us in advance if your child will arrive after 9:30 AM.

What is your sick child policy? +

For the health and safety of all children, we cannot accept children with:

  • Fever of 100.4°F or higher
  • Vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours
  • Contagious illness (pink eye, chickenpox, etc.)
  • Undiagnosed rash

Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to care.

When are you closed for holidays? +

We are closed on major holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), and Christmas (typically Dec 24 - Jan 2). A full holiday schedule is provided upon enrollment.

How do you communicate with parents? +

We use the Lillio app to provide daily updates including:

  • Photos and videos of activities
  • Meal and nap reports
  • Daily learning highlights
  • Direct messaging with teachers

We also send monthly newsletters and host family events throughout the year.

What safety measures do you have? +

Safety is our top priority:

  • Secure entry with access codes
  • All staff background checked and trained
  • CPR/First Aid certified staff
  • Regular emergency drills
  • Health screenings and sanitation protocols
  • Licensed by Washington State DCYF
Are you licensed? +

Yes! We are fully licensed by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). Our Provider ID is 2175196. We are licensed for up to 35 children.
